Born in Queens, N.Y.C. and at an early age I can recall spending hours alone drawing, which gave me a profound contentment and passion for art.
My family moved us to New Haven, Ct. where I completed my primary education. It was during these years my passion for art was stifled.
In 1968 I moved to Middletown, Ct. for my college education. I continued to experience a disconnect with my childhood passion, even though I was taking art courses. I needed to find away to fulfill my passion in a more self-explanatory direction.
As I followed this direction, I met another artist who had enlightened me to more expansive areas of art production and encouraged my developing style which I would later term "figurative folk art" using a variety of multi-media tools.
This path connected me with another artist who instilled a greater sense of fulfillment to explore my creative reach. We collaborated on several projects, our time together further developed and inspired my artistic endeavors.
Being an artist is my passion which is a gift and a lifelong pursuit that's alive within me. This passion for me exists spiritually and consciously always!
